Diving school

Are you interested in either refreshing an old certificate that you took a long time ago? Or if now is the time when you finally want to take the plunge and start diving? Then we would love to help you!

PADI Diving Courses

We start new courses by agreement.

The course is a so-called Open Water Referral, which means that you will undergo and be tested in 3 of the 4 areas that lead to a PADI Open Water certificate (Junior Open Water between 10-14 years old).

What we do on the course is:

  1. Read and go through the 5 theory sections in the course book and the dive computer manual, including knowledge checks, and take quizzes and final exams.
  2. Complete and pass the 5 sections that apply to pool diving.
  3. Complete and pass the swimming skill requirements. (200 m and 10 min water treading/floating)
  4. (Complete and pass Open Water dives 1-4)

The 4th point is the one we omit in a Referral and consists of 4 Open Water dives. These open water dives are the ones you will complete your training with at a dive center in Sweden or abroad. This must be done within 1 year from the date you are approved on the first 3 points.

The schedule typically looks like this:

Occasion 1, 4:30–7:00 PM (e.g.)
Distribution of course materials, review course structure, clarify any equipment needs (bring your own equipment if necessary).

Event 2, 4:30–8:00 PM
Review of sections 1-2 of the manual including the knowledge checks. Review pool dives associated with these sections. If time permits, quizzes 1 and 2.

Event 3, 4:30–8:00 PM
Review of sections 3-5 of the manual including the knowledge checks. Review pool dives with hearing
to these sections. If time permits, quiz 3 and 4.

Event 4, 4:30–8:00 PM
Assemble/disassemble air packages, any remaining quizzes, and take the final exam.

Pool dive:

Evening 1 approx. 3 hours Pool dive 1-2

Evening 2 approx. 3 hours Pool dive 3-5

Price: SEK 3,100 – The course fee includes loan of air package (regulator, air and diving vest), heel strap fins and dive computer, course materials and certification for PADI Open Water Referral.

Are you going on a sun holiday and maybe go diving?

If it has been more than 1 year since your last dive, you need to do a Scuba Review. You can do this with us before you go.

We go through most of the exercises from the Open Water course as well as a thorough review of the theory.

Not included: Mask, snorkel, wetsuit, wetsuit shoes or full-foot fins. If you do not have these, we will help you during the introduction to either try them out for purchase or rental. However, we believe that it is important to own your own mask, snorkel and wetsuit when you have a diving certificate, as it gives you the security that this has been tested for you and is easy to carry with you. This will both increase safety and make it easier to dive after you have obtained your certificate.

Price: PADI Scuba Review: SEK 2,000

Welcome!
